Pattern Literacy Group Supervision

Working with people can be challenging.

In a single session, or meeting, we are flooded with so much information. As a result, we may lose sight of our focus, find ourselves stuck or up against our growth edges. This can lead to a constriction in our attention. We can end up focusing on a narrow band of information and miss out on opportunities to get beneath the surface, deepen our work, and align with the change that is trying to happen.

Pattern Literacy is a 2-hour group supervision session focused on exploring questions and cases through a process-oriented lens. In a group format we are able to access multiple perspectives to gain further insight into our questions and cases.

Through following the process: the flow of experience arising through sensory grounded information, we can track known and emerging patterns that structure beliefs and identities. This reveals additional opportunities for getting beneath the surface, shifting entrenched behaviour and deepening our work with others.

About the Approach:

From a process-oriented perspective every case carries innate patterns. Human experience can be holographic: even the smallest piece of information, or signal, can reveal insights about the larger arc of an individual, couple, or group's experience. These patterns provide a map that can help us navigate challenges and find innate solutions.

When we present a case to a group of practitioners in a supportive and open space, we may feel a sense of being less alone and as a result more resourced. One benefit of the format is that we gain insight into our core questions from a variety of perspectives. This can aid us in meeting the complexity and richness of our clients experience as well as our own.

What to Expect:

Each session will run for a total of two hours, with five slots to present topics of individual development, client, or organizational cases. You may also bring a question related to your practice.
